Several club members attended a tech session on minor dent repair.
START TO FINISH Paintless Dent Removal demo given by Mauro DeLuna. Mauro demonstrated his technique by removing high spots from the trunk lid of Don's 1983 Euro 500SL. When he saw the car he chuckled and said that these are referred to as 'high spots' not dents. He repairs high spots and dents without re-painting. This can be done on most small to fairly large dents, but it depends on where the high spots and dents are located. They also do hail damage, paint touch-up repairs, headlight restoration, windshield repair, bumper repair, and paint protection film in addition to door ding repair. Before today's tech session, Don took their 2005 E320 and watched him repair door dents, and he did a fantastic job. Also, if you have a creased fender, hood, rear quarter panel, etc these might also be repairable without repainting, Mauro will need to take a look at the area to determine what can be done. And he will give you a free estimate.
